DUHS (Dow University of Health Sciences) Introduction

This Dow University medical entry test is based on simple multiple choice questions. This test pattern is quite simple, each of multiple choice questions will have four options. Students have to note that 30 each of the MCQs questions will come from chemistry, physics and biology subject, then 10 of the MCQs questions will come English section. You will be given total 100 MCQs and applicant will not have any choice in these MCQs questions. You will get total time of one hour to solve and complete these MCQs and no extra time will be given.

DUHS Medical Entry test is MCQs based. Following is the pattern of the test.
Biology 30 mcqs
​ Physics 30 mcqs
​ Chemistry 30 mcqs
​English 10 mcqs
Total MCQs = 100
Time allotted = 1 hour

Eligibility Criteria

All those candidates who holds the domicile of the Karachi and Cleared their Intermediate Level examination with the 60% marks or above from any recognized college are eligible to appear in the Dow University of Health Sciences Pre Entry Test.

You have to pay the fee voucher of the amount of Rs. 1000/- and you should submit all of your documents NTS Islamabad. With the form, you have to attach this attested photocopy of your CNIC. What is NMDCAT?
  • The Medical / Dental Colleges Admission Test (NMDCAT) is a standardized admission test which is mandatory for admission to MBBS and BDS programme in all public and private sector medical and dental institutions according to the regulations of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). It is a two and a half hour (150 minutes) paper based test that is offered once a year. The test is administered by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, on behalf of the Government of the Punjab. PMC is responsible for producing and marking the test, and also facilitating an extensive province-wise centre network at which the candidates can sit the test.

  • Hello Candidate, if you are applying against reserved seats for the Children of Overseas Pakistanis then you have to submit the documents that are given below.
    An employment certificate (on Form-VIII) of Parents or a Guardian of candidate in a foreign country issue by the Pakistani Embassy. Form-VIII can be downloaded from our website or can be obtained from the undersigned Office.
    A photocopy of resident visa of the Parent/Guardian of applicant that is attested by the Pakistani Embassy in that country so, you can apply for NMDCAT Test.
